CRIS-ANALYSIS integrates chart deficiency analysis with CRIS's chart completion and chart tracking capabilities. ANALYSIS minimizes keystroke entry while providing a customized deficiency sheet with all the deficiencies and MD actions needed written in clear English.
Why utilize ANALYSIS?
Physicians love it...
ANALYSIS provides an easy-to-read deficiency sheet, with the deficiencies and actions, written out English for the physician's use.
The deficiency form lists for each physician only those items that he/she is to complete.
Your deficiency form can list detailed instructions or provide a brief memo to any MD.
Special ANALYSIS features....
Unlimited number and type of deficiencies.
You define all deficiencies using any terminology. Deficiencies can be revised at any time.
Different deficiency sets can be defined for Inpatient, Ambulatory, OB, etc.
Analyze in the natural order of the record. Analysis proceeds in the order of your specific medical record format. The user notes deficiencies as they show up in the record, easily assigning them to the appropriate physician without a confusing change of screens.
Deficiencies can be dated, e.g. note the dates of op reports, or dates of unsigned orders.
Bar coding available. Unique feature - Automatically creates and prints bar codes on the deficiency form. The bar codes are then used to automate updating CRIS after physicians work on their charts.
What is needed to use CRIS-ANALYSIS?
Each chart analyst in the department must have access to a PC during the time they are doing chart analysis. ANALYSIS can be used on a Local Area Network, or separate PCs and then transferred to the CRIS computer by floppy disk.
Analysts need a printer near their desk. Several analysts can share one printer.
Analysis Sample Screen Shots
Start analysis by typing in the medical record number and admit date, or the patient visit number. The case is then brought in through the ADT interface
CRIS then searches the "results" interface for any dictations, transcriptions, or e-signatures already performed on this patient encounter.
The deficiencies and doctors are brought into CRIS from the "results" interface. The analyst can add new deficiencies by clicking on the deficiency, action, and doctor. New doctors can be added as needed.
