CRIS has a built in word processor that lets you modify your letters to the MD’s and other providers. Up to 8 different letters can be defined. Separate letters can be sent to House Staff. Delinquent time periods are customizable down to the individual type of deficiency. Numbers of delinquent charts and suspensions are kept for use in the Credentialing process. CRIS-FAX can be used to directly fax the letters to MD’s from the CRIS computer without the user ever touching the letter! CRIS-Email can directly, automatically, email the letter to the MD - hundreds of emails can be sent in a few minutes. The screen below shows the letter screen for printing, emailing and faxing. CRIS emails the letter if the MD has an email address in CRIS, faxes the letter if the MD has a fax number in CRIS, and otherwise it prints the letter.
There are many options available so you can easily customize which doctors receive letters and how the letters are to be delivered.
