Fax

CRIS-FAX provides automated faxing of the weekly MD letters directly from your computer. CRIS-FAX reduces manual work, provides instant communication to the MD's and pays for itself by saving postage costs. Once implemented, sit back and let CRIS-FAX do the work. All you do differently is have far fewer paper letters to fold and mail.

What does CRIS-FAX do?

CRIS-FAX fully automates the MD letter faxing process. You don't use a traditional fax machine, CRIS-FAX sends the faxes directly from your computer. You select "Print letters" in the usual fashion. CRIS-FAX automatically intercepts letters for any MD with a fax phone number. MD's without fax machines receive letters in the mail, and MD's with fax machines receive a fax (with the same information as appears on the paper letter).

CRIS-FAX Features

CRIS-FAX uses any good quality Windows 95/98/NT compatible fax modem. The modem can fax letters in the "background" while you are     using other CRIS functions in the "foreground".
Faxes can be sent immediately, or CRIS-FAX can schedule sending at a time of your choosing. If telephone costs for local message units are lower overnight, you can tell CRIS-FAX to fax the letters in the middle of the night. Faxing one page takes approximately 28-35 seconds.
The savings in postage costs for MD letters can pay for the system in less than a year. For example, the postage for 100 letters per week for one year is $1,664 (and rising).
