Master Tracker

CRIS-Master Tracker extends the CRIS chart location features to all permanent file charts. Use Master Tracker to include a location for all charts in your department. CRIS-Master Tracker is immediately available for installation at your hospital.

What does Master Tracker do?

CRIS Master Tracker can locate any chart in your department. Your current CRIS tracks the location of all incomplete charts and all permanent file charts that are signed out of permanent file to a different location. Master Tracker expands the location function to include all charts in one, or more, permanent files. Master Tracker works seamlessly from within CRIS. When you search for a chart, CRIS will automatically search for all active locations as well as permanent locations, such as microfilm, off-site storage, etc.. Master Tracker requires approximately 10 Mb of hard disk space per 100,000 records.

 Master Tracker Features

Search for permanent file charts by patient name or medical record number.
You can name as many "permanent file locations" as are needed. CRIS then automatically differentiates "active" locations from permanent locations.
When a chart is completed, CRIS will store the chart in the permanent location you choose. You can "wand" the chart into a permanent file location.
List charts in Master Tracker. You can list charts in any location in terminal digit, patient name, discharge date, or date put into the Master Tracker order. Any portion of the list can be printed (e.g., discharge dates from 1/1/95 to 12/31/95). Lists can be used to purge your file of inactive records for microfilm as last date of activity is always kept.
Charts can be easily moved from any location, in and out of permanent file locations.
Master Tracker is totally compatible with, and is enhanced by, the use of Bar Coding. Records can be wanded in and out of the Master Tracker.
